Service Dogs by Warren Retrievers is a non-profit organization which means your
donation would be tax-deductible.
Kamryn’s Kure is working directly with SDWR, as they help Kamryn and Treina live
a better quality life with Type 1 Diabetes. A Diabetic Alert Service Dog (D.A.D.) will
notify them when their sugar may be dropping low, getting too high, or even if there is
something wrong that needs immediate attention. These actions can help prevent negative
effects of t1d in the future and even stop some things that are happening now. Treina
has totally lost her vision in her left eye due to diabetic retinopathy, and with better
control of her Diabetes the prayers are that she will maintain her vision in her right!! The
D.A.D. will warn her prior to the blood sugar dropping but also help by bringing her a
snack or juice to assist in raising it to a normal level. Which helps maintains control of
this horrible disease. A Diabetic Alert Dog will help prevent Kamryn from having to go
through some of the things Treina already has unfortunately experienced! The D.A.D.
will give Kamryn the freedom she will need as she gets older. Help Kamryn’s Kure on
our journey to try and give Kamryn a life of normalcy and help prevent Treina from
experiencing any further complications due to this disease. Service Dogs by Warren
Retrievers put lots of time and care into what they do which prompted RVAhasTalent to
join with us in supporting this organization. We are all so excited to work with them on
this journey into a better life.
